Switchvox comes with a standard 1-year warranty, but for a low cost you can extend the coverage and replacement of your Switchvox Appliance for up to 5 years!
For the first 90 days following your warranty Start Date, you may purchase one extended warranty for your hardware. After 90 days have elapsed, Digium will not allow an extended warranty to be applied to your hardware. For example, if you purchase a 3-Year Extended Warranty, you cannot achieve 6 years of warranty by purchasing a second 3-Year Extended Warranty. Your hardware platform is only warranted for the maximum period of the original warranty and any one extended warranty.
For customers who have purchased the Three Year Extended Appliance Hardware Warranty, Digium will, for a period of three (3) years from the Start Date, which is a period of two (2) additional years beyond the Standard Appliance Hardware Warranty of one (1) year, warrant that the product purchased by customer shall be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal authorized use consistent with the product instructions.
For customers who have purchased the Five (5) Year Extended Appliance Hardware Warranty, Digium will, for a period of five (5) years from the Start Date, which is a period of four (4) additional years beyond the Standard Appliance Hardware Warranty of one (1) year, warrant that the product purchased by customer shall be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal authorized use consistent with the product instructions.

If your Switchvox Subscriptions have expired, but your Extended Hardware Warranty is still active, Switchvox Technical Support can help you with any hardware-specific issues. If we determine that the issue is not hardware-related, we may require that you renew your Switchvox Subscriptions before we can provide software-related assistance.
Digium's Switchvox hardware warranties do not provide for advanced hardware replacement. In the event of a failure of your in-warranty hardware, you must follow the procedures given in the Digital Techniques Return Policy.
However, we want to assist you as quickly as possible, and to that end the Digium Return Policy includes a "cross-ship" option. That can expedite your hardware replacement, depending on inventory and shipping options. Cross-shipping requires that we have a credit card on file.
If you are concerned about a delay in receiving replacement hardware (caused by shipping and handling, inventory, or any reason), you should consider purchasing a Cold Spare for your Switchvox Appliance.
If your hardware platform is older, or is not listed above, then warranty extensions are no longer available for purchase for your platform.
